Oberthur Fiduciaire is the first company in the banknote industry to have successfully achieved this important ISO benchmark. Commenting on the accreditation, Mr Thomas Savare, CEO, said “ We are delighted to be the first banknote company to have achieved ISO37001 which demonstrates Oberthur Fiduciaire’s determination to adhere to the highest standards of corporate behaviour. I believe it is essential that the Banknote industry looks “outward” and measures itself against the high standards set by other industries in this area – not just our own industry. Securing ISO 37001 enables the banknote industry to do this. We also believe that our customers can use ISO37001 throughout their whole supply chain- not just their banknote printers, as they can mandate that all their suppliers, in whatever field , secure ISO37001 accreditation. From the feedback we have already received, our customers recognise the benefits that ISO37001 will bring to them in this context”
